The aim of this resource is to provide succinct information on all topics and issues that aid workers need to know about when based in the field.  Each topic is described on one page, with additional resources and web links listed at the bottom for further information.  Five sections cover humanitarian principles, disaster preparedness and response, managing projects, working with communities, and managing people. The companion web site provides individual PDF files for each page of the manual, and access to translated versions.
