Abstract:

This report identifies research on the relationship between education and conflict.  The authors describe their methodology, look at research issues such as definitions and evidence, discuss research themes and gaps, and provide recommendations.  Three appendices list web sites of interest, summarize their search strategy, and profile the Inter-Agency Network on Education in Emergencies (INEE).  Approximately 55 references are included.
