Abstract:

 

The focus of this review is primary care services for refugees and their effectiveness.  The authors describe their search strategy.  They begin with background on the refugee experience and the asylum process in the UK.  They then discuss what primary care services, both core and support, are actually available to refugees in the UK.  Ninety-three references are listed.
