Abstract:

The aim of this review is to examine the qualitative social science literature in order to determine the extent to which it speaks to the intervention indicators promoted by the Sphere standard on the mental and social aspects of health.  The authors describe their research methodology, keywords and database sources.  They identify 118 relevant studies, the findings of which are summarized under each of the specific Sphere indicators.  Some 70 references are listed.
