Abstract:

This bibliography highlights articles, books, and reports that focus on the protection of women refugees and asylum-seekers.  The references are organized thematically.  Each section begins with an introduction to the specific theme or issue, followed by the references organized in reverse chronological order.  Themes include the Executive Committee of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and international protection; human rights; sexual violence against refugee women; resettlement of women at risk; assistance programs; gender-related persecution; and gender guidelines.  The bibliography concludes with a list of resources for further research.
