Abstract:

 

The focus of this bibliography is the ongoing displacement and mistreatment of Roma (also known as Romany and gypsies) in Europe.  Annotated entries are organized under the following sections: general bibliographies about the Roma; periodicals which regularly publish articles about Roma; texts containing general information about the Roma; academic studies on the Roma in Eastern Europe (with breakdowns by country/region); and academic studies about Roma in Western Europe (with breakdowns by country/region).  Two brief sections on the Roma in India and the Middle East and the Roma in North and South America are also included.
