Bibliographic information:

Chowdhury, Mosfeka. 1995. "Select Bibliography: Refugee Women." Refugee Survey Quarterly 14 (Special Issue):1-77.

Abstract:

This bibliography represents a third update to the two previous bibliographies on refugee women published by the Centre for Documentation on Refugees (CDR) in 1985 and 1989, respectively.  It is included in a special issue of Refugee Survey Quarterly (RSQ) that commemorates the 1995 Fourth World Conference on Women.  References in the bibliography were selected from CDR's literature database, REFLIT, and from Refugee Women: A Bibliography of Country of Origin Information, compiled by the Documentation, Information and Research Branch of Canada's Immigration and Refugee Board.  The 313 titles are organized as follows: protection concerns, special needs, durable solutions, women's rights, women's rights violations, and training/reference materials.  A subject/country index is included.
