The author begins with a characterization of the trafficking situation in the region.  Next, she reviews the relevant research and identifies gaps.  This same format is used for the subsequent sections in which the author provides an overview of the following individual countries: Belize, Guatemala, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, and Jamaica.  Some 55 references are listed.
