This bibliography was compiled as a companion volume to the following titles: Refugee Women: Selected and Annotated Bibliography (UNHCR, 1985) and its 1989 updated edition, and "Select Bibliography: Refugee Women," Refugee Survey Quarterly, vol. 14 (special issue, 1995) (see separate entry).  The 385 annotated references are organized by chapter:  General Concerns; Country of Origin Conditions (sub-divided by region); Asylum (sub-divided by region); and Countries of Resettlement: Refugees' Special Needs (sub-divided by topic: language, employment, occupation, education; health, mental health, health care delivery; social and cultural issues; topics are further sub-divided by refugee group). Author and subjects indexes are included.
