Abstract:

 

This handbook serves as an operational tool for UNHCR staff members and partners "in the field to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate repatriation and reintegration activities." It is divided into three parts: "Understanding the Context: Where Repatriation and Reintegration Fit"; "How to Plan, Implement, Monitor and Evaluate Repatriation and Reintegration Operations"; and "Institutional Support Mechanisms."  The volume also includes a glossary, bibliography, and useful web site list.  A French version is available.
