Abstract:

The authors sought to identify journal articles that discussed the use of mental health services by young refugees.  They begin by describing their search methodology for locating studies; a total of 11 met their inclusion criteria.  Given the limited research available, the authors also undertook a more general literature review of mental health services and their use by adult refugees for comparative purposes. This process yielded another 37 studies.  The authors conclude that more research is needed in this area.
