Abstract:

This serial statistical publication has been produced under various titles and issued at various intervals since the late 1990s.  Currently, it is being generated once a year, and provides an overview of first-time asylum applications submitted during the previous year.  Trends in 38 European and 6 non-European countries are analyzed. In the past, it was produced on a quarterly basis. The search string below locates most of these reports on the UNHCR web site.
