EM-DAT: The International Disaster Database. Brussels: Center for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters (CRED).
This database contains data on the occurrence and impact of both natural and technological disasters around the world since 1900. Users can search by location, timeframe and disaster, then generate a dataset that can be downloaded or displayed as a graph. In addition to being able to perform a customized search, users can view summary tables for different countries and disaster types, maps, and charts displaying disaster trends.
