Abstract:
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between refugee and migrant experiences and social cohesion. It begins with a statistical profile of the overseas-born population in New Zealand. In chapters 2 to 6, the discussion is organized around five dimensions of social cohesion: belonging, participation, inclusion, recognition and legitimacy. Approximately 165 references are listed.
