McCormack, Mary, and Rowan Walker. 2005. Drug Prevention for Young Asylum Seekers and Refugees: A Review of Current Knowledge. London: Mentor.

Abstract:

Few studies have investigated the extent of drug use among refugee and asylum-seeking youth in the United Kingdom.  This report assesses the existing knowledge base, with a discussion of risk factors for drug use in the areas of mental health, education, crime, unemployment, housing, family ties, history of drug use, environment, and social networks.  The author concludes with a list of gaps identified in the literature.  Over 30 references are listed.
