This literature review looks at existing models of settlement assistance provided to newly arrived refugees and immigrants in Canada, the United States and Australia. The objective is to determine which models have been most successful, particularly with regard to helping newcomers to achieve self-sufficiency and to successfully integrate. Approximately 75 references are listed.
