Bibliographic information:

Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions. 2001. "Forced Evictions and Displacement." In Bibliography on Housing Rights and Forced Evictions, 33-44. Geneva: Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions.

Abstract:

Part 2 of this bibliography lists titles relating to the forced eviction or displacement of people for development purposes.  The references are organized by documentation type: professional research, NGO/government publications, UN documents, UN resolutions, and institutional policies and guidelines on resettlement.  Most of the materials highlighted in part 2 date from the 1990s.  Over 150 references are listed.  Although this bibliography is not annotated, it nevertheless is included in the present guide because very few reference materials focusing on development-induced displacement have been produced.
