Abstract:

This article proposes additional terms and definitions relating to man-made disasters to supplement S.W.A. Gunn's Multilingual Dictionary of Disaster Medicine (see separate entry).  The earlier work focuses more on natural disasters.  A compilation of various terms (link provided below), including those in the above-mentioned article, were posted on the (now defunct) Prehospital and Disaster Medicine web site for discussion.
