Bibliographic information:

Gray, Alison, and Natasha McMillan. 2009. Long Term Settlement of Refugees: An Annotated Bibliography of New Zealand and International Literature. Quota Refugees in Ten Years On. Wellington: New Zealand Department of Labour.

Abstract:

This study begins with a review of literature relating to the long-term settlement of resettled refugees and the factors that help or impede their integration.  The authors explore ten themes that emerged from their survey of the literature, and conclude with integration issues that arise for specific refugee groups.  The annotated bibliography is organized around these same themes and includes detailed descriptions and analyses of close to 200 titles.  The search strategy for this project is presented in Appendix A.  Keyword and author indexes are included in Appendix D. A subject index for the study as a whole rounds out the report.
