Bibliographic information:

Nam, Boutros, and Rachel Ward. 2006. Refugee and Migrant Needs: An Annotated Bibliography of Research and Consultations. [Wellington]: RMS Refugee Resettlement.

Abstract:

The aim of this bibliography was to identify studies that investigate the various needs of refugees and migrants in New Zealand.  References are first organized by their focus on refugees, specifically, or on refugees and migrants, more generally.  In both sections, they are then organized thematically by the following need types or recipients of need:  health, housing, education (children and youth), education (adult), employment and economic well-being, immigration and family reunification, capacity building and community development, family and social support, leisure and recreation, women, children and youth, elderly, policy, accessing information, and social harmony.  Some 140 references are included, although a number are listed under more than one heading.   The annotations highlight the particular need identified within the study.
