Abstract:

Presents a case study of undertaking a systematic review to investigate intervention strategies for promoting refugee integration.  The aim was to assess the utility of systematic reviews and research synthesis as strategies for supporting evidence-based policy.  The authors describe their search methodology and findings, and conclude that "[s]ystematic reviews of interventions aiming for refugee integration are a sensible component of any research strategy that aims for a better evidence base underpinning government policies" (p. 17).
