Abstract:

The break-up of the Soviet Union and the changes to the geopolitical landscape that resulted served as a theme for many of the discussions at the third meeting of the International Research and Advisory Panel (IRAP).  This report highlights the main themes addressed, synthesizes research findings, and summarizes the discussions of the four workshops held on repatriation, refugee protection, psychosocial issues, and refugee health.
