Bibliographic information:

Williamson, Jan. 1994. Selected and Annotated Bibliography on the Psychological Needs of Refugee Children. Geneva: International Catholic Child Bureau.

Abstract:

The references in this bibliography are organized under 11 thematic chapters.  Each begins with a brief introduction to the importance and relevance of each theme to the overall focus of the bibliography on the psychological needs of refugee children.  The chapters cover trauma and refugee children; child development and psychosocial needs; training, refugee participation and community development; education; armed conflict; grief and bereavement; unaccompanied children in refugee emergencies; cross-cultural considerations; resettlement; research, bibliographies and literature reviews; and periodicals. Within each chapter, the over 200 entries are organized by title.
