Abstract:

This bibliography highlights the primary sources of international refugee law.  It lists universal and regional instruments, as well as official documents, resolutions and conclusions issued by the principal refugee-related United Nations bodies.  Supplementing the primary texts are references to books, journal articles and training materials.  The bibliography groups references under the following headings: Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Executive Committee of the High Commissioner's Programme, international refugee law - general, and international refugee law - specific themes (non-refoulement, asylum, voluntary repatriation, resettlement, temporary refuge, detention, stateless persons, internally displaced persons, refugee women, refugee children).  These are further sub-divided by resource type.  Over 200 references are listed.
