Bibliographic information:

Statistical Yearbook [year]: Trends in Displacement, Protection and Solutions. Geneva: United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, 2002-.  Annual.

Abstract:

Produced since 2001, the Statistical Yearbook reports on and analyzes trends relating to refugees, asylum-seekers, internally displaced persons (IDPs) protected/assisted by UNHCR, stateless persons, returned refugees, returned IDPs, and so-called "others of concern."  Chapters look at overall population levels, durable solutions, new arrivals, asylum and refugee status determination, demographic characteristics and location, well-being and living conditions of refugees, and host country capacities.  Statistical annexes are available for download as Excel spreadsheets.  This publication continues Refugees and Others of Concern to UNHCR: [year] Statistical Overview, the 1994-2000 editions of which are available at the same URL as the yearbooks.  Each edition of the yearbook is preceded by more preliminary and less detailed analyses of the same data, reported in UNHCR Global Trends [year] [see separate entry].
