Abstract:

 

As stipulated by the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000, the U.S. Department of State is required to submit an annual report to the U.S. Congress on efforts taken around the world to combat human trafficking.  The report includes thematic essays, country narratives that describe the scope of the problem and national efforts undertaken to address the problem, information on signatories to relevant international conventions, maps, and law enforcement data.  Previous reports are available online since 2001.
