Abstract:

 

The focus of this review is empirical research conducted on the reasons for the growth in human trafficking.  The author begins with trafficking definitions.  She then proceeds to a discussion of the factors that contribute to trafficking, including push/pull and demand/supply factors. Twenty-four references are included.
