Abstract:

 

This report reviews literature that discusses refugee and asylum-seeking children in the United Kingdom under the age of eight.  The review is divided into the following sections: early years provision; education; healthcare; social services provision; and non-statutory organisations.  The author concludes with observations about the literature and gaps in research and knowledge.  Over 50 references are listed.
